The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

It is the story of Jesus Christ. Bar none! The greatest love story ever told. Whether you’re a Christian or not, the story of Jesus Christ is the greatest love story ever told. How? Well….

A King loved His people so much that He sent His only begotten Son to take upon Himself (the Son) all of the sins and iniquities and shortcomings of His (the King) people. So that the King’s people will be made right or righteous with the King, in order that the people can reconcile with their King irrespective of their sins or iniquities or shortcomings.

You see, the King is sooo Holy, that anyone and anything with a speck of sin or iniquity or shortcoming will be burnt in His presence. So with the blood of the Son on the cross, He (the Son) paid for the sins of mankind, you and me, the King’s people; so that we might be able to approach our Father, the King again; so that we can commune with Him, present our petitions before Him, and have Him hear us; so that He may grant us grace and mercy.

This is love. This is enduring love.

You see, Easter is supposed to be the celebration of the culmination of this greatest love, when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, and rose from the dead on the third day. The greatest love story ever told. Don’t you think?

After Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for our sins, iniquities, and shortcomings, He rose from the dead on the third day, overcoming and destroying death forever. It takes Faith to believe and trust in the Son, Jesus Christ, and the Father, the King of this greatest of love stories ever told.

Are you a believer or follower of Christ? What do you think is the greatest love story ever told? Please share!

Happy Easter!
